Thomas Cook gets new aircraft for long-haul expansion
Thomas Cook Airlines UK will get a seventh A330-200 in May to support long-haul expansion.
In addition, four A321s will arrive in the UK in early spring to complete the recent refurbishment of the group’s fleet and bring the total of A321s in service to 25.
Thomas Cook will also take delivery of three 767-300ERs for its German operation, where it already has 13 of the Boeing aircraft.
"Few things articulate growth and customer focus more than the delivery of new aircraft to a fleet," said Thomas Cook chief airlines and hotels officer Christoph Debus.
"We’re growing across our markets in an integrated way that allows us to operate as one virtual airline. We take the best of each market and combine it to create one aligned, strong product and service that customers know will mean affordable quality.
"Our long-haul expansion has allowed us to stamp our mark on the UK and German markets with great new leisure destinations designed to pique the interest of our loyal customers and attract new ones."
