Three Phuket and Krabi hotels are the winners.
The JW Marriott Phuket Kata Thani Phuket Beach Resort and The Tubkaak Boutique Resort in Krabi all won awards at the 2006 Thailand Tourism Awards held in Bangkok last week.
The JW Marriott Phuket Resort and Spa was awarded the excellence award for resort hotels of over 80 rooms category, while the Kata Thani Phuket Beach Resort won an Award of Outstanding Performance for resort hotels of over 80 rooms.
The Tubkaak Boutique Resort in Krabi won an Award of Outstanding Performance for resorts of less than 80 rooms.
The Thailand Tourism Awards are organized every two years to promote the quality of hotel accommodation services in the hospitality industry and the judging committee comprised leading figures from various tourism sectors.
