EDITOR’S NOTE
Six months after the terrorist attacks on New York and
Washington, the travel industry is beginning to show signs of
recovery. According to the Guild of Business Travel Agents,
business travel is almost back to last year’s levels although
revenues continue to be down.
http://www.travelmole.com/item/74488
UK airport operator BAA last week reported the first increase in
passenger numbers through its seven UK airports since September
11 and low cost airlines Go, Ryanair and easyJet have all
reported significant increases in passenger numbers. And
although Thomas Cook says that it expects package holiday sales
to fall this summer it believes that bookings will have “made a
substantial recovery” by winter 2002/2003.

It’s certainly found a place in my ‘Favourites’. But if you want
