TMC Upside shutting down due to Covid losses
Upside has become the latest victim of Covid’s impact on business travel. The Washington DC-based travel management firm is closing down. In a LinkedIn post announcing its demise it cited a virtual standstill in business travel and continued uncertainty over a recovery.
It was unable to raise additional capital to stem losses, CEO and co-founder Scott Case said. It will officially close for good on 24 September. The company was formed in 2016.
