Travel Technology Awards nominations open today
World Travel Market is hosting the Travel Technology Awards with TravelMole for the second year running, highlighting the latest digital developments that have created the most impact in the industry over the past year.
The awards provide an fascinating yardstick for the fast-changing world of online travel with more categories added this year.
New for 2006 are awards for destination management, online education and the most innovative travel technology stand within the dedicated technology section at WTM.
Fiona Jeffery, managing director of WTM, said: “World Travel Market has now established a thriving travel technology section. The new awards this year serve to underline how technology fuels innovation in our industry and the important role we can play in promoting it.”
The Travel Technology Awards were inaugurated last year to recognise excellence in innovation, service and performance across the many sectors of the travel and tourism industry which are dependent upon technology companies.

The winners will be announced on the World Stage at ExCeL London during WTM on Wednesday, November 8.
