Uber expands travel features with Viator partnership

Uber users can now book thousands of tours, activities and dining within the app.

Inventory from Viator and OpenTable is bookable via the Uber Explore feature.

“We launched Uber Explore this year to take customers beyond the ride,” Adib Roumani, head of mobility verticals tech at Uber, said.

“Uber Explore puts cities at your fingertips, and we’re thrilled to announce our partnership with Viator.”

The main Uber Travel feature allows users to store flight, train, and car bookings

It will now become available in over 10,000 cities globally
