Vacation.com introduced a new FIT program for the Vacation.com CruiseCentre. It will provide member agencies with increased flexibility and fewer restrictions on sailings and itineraries when booking discounted cruise fares with Royal Caribbean and Celebrity cruise lines, the company said. With the new program, the company will no longer offer “traditional” group blocks. Instead, Vacation.com has joined with Royal Caribbean and Celebrity to provide members with a product that combines the benefits of booking “traditional” group space, including discounted pricing, according to Vacation.com. The new program will continue to offer members group level price discounts, but cruise reservations will have to be booked as FIT reservations, said Linda Nowotny, Vacation.com CruiseCentre manager.
