Vaccination proof required at Puerto Rico hotels
Puerto Rico will require vaccination proof for guests at hotels, guest houses and vacation rentals. The new rule comes into effect on 16 August for employees and guests.
Unvaccinated travelers from within the United States must show proof of a negative PCR or antigen test taken within 72 hours before arrival in Puerto Rico.
Unvaccinated travelers arriving without a test must take one within 48 hours after arrival or are liable for a fine. All travelers must still register at the TravelSafe PR health portal to upload all relevant documentation.
