Fast growing budget carrier Vietjet is launching a new international service from Hanoi to Yangon, Myanmar.
Hanoi – Yangon flights will operate daily from August 31
Vietjet already serves Yangon from Ho Chi Minh City.
It is expected to meet the increasing demand for tourism and business travel between the countries as the ASEAN bloc of nations slowly move toward closer ties regarding free movement and the removal of trade restrictions.
Vietjet currently operates a fleet of 45 aircraft and operates 350 flights a day with international destinations in Thailand, Singapore, Korea, Taiwan, Malaysia and China.
