Vistara appoints new chief information officer

Indian full service airline Vistara has named Ravinder Pal Singh as new chief information officer.
Singh will take charge of the airline’s IT and innovation, which encompasses strengthening the company’s corporate culture.
He was global chief information and technology officer at aviation maintenance repair services company, Air Works and has served in leadership positions for Microsoft, Accenture and Wipro.
"I am happy to welcome Ravi to the Vistara family. Ravi is a seasoned technology expert and we are keen to leverage his extensive technology leadership experience to enhance the level of operational excellence at Vistara and delivering greater value to our customers," said Phee Teik Yeoh, CEO of Vistara.
Singh has a wealth of IT-based strategic planning experience and has gained several industry accolades including CIO 100 Winner and Digital Transformational Leader during 2015.
