Voting opens for 2024 British Travel Awards
Consumer voting is now open for the 2024 British Travel Awards (BTAs).
Nominees’ ‘Vote for Us’ electronic voting buttons are now activated.
All registered nominees have received a nominee pack to enable them to start their vote lobbying campaigns.
The pack contains lobbying assets including the one-click “Vote for Us’ ‘buttons.
These can be used on all electronic content, including websites, social media and emails.
Nominees will also receive a special nominee logo to display on all assets.
BTA director of events and partnerships, Lorraine Barnes Burton, said: “Last year nominees really got behind their lobbying campaigns leading to a record 1.6 million votes cast.”
Consumers are encouraged to vote with entry into a prize draw, and the chance to win holiday prizes.
The travel companies providing prizes receive additional exposure via BTA media partners, the BTA website and voting form.
The 2024 British Travel Awards are supported by media partner Reach Solutions, with its stable of national and regional newspapers, the Express, Mirror, Star, Scottish Daily Record and Sunday Mail titles.
Up to five BTA sponsored e-newsletters are sent to over 400,000 past consumer voters encouraging them to vote again.
Lorraine Barnes Burton added: “Nominated companies can now make a start on their lobbying campaigns, encouraging all past happy customers to vote.”
The voting period runs up to 19 November, the day of the Awards ceremony.
Nominated companies have until 29th September to lobby their consumers for votes.
