West End theatres in ‘desperate need’

About 26 London theatres closed last weekend with shows such as Hamilton, Wicked and The Lion King impacted.
Theatre producer Sir Cameron Mackintosh called for urgent assistance with the possibility of new restrictions. "We desperately need the government to step in, "he said.
