White for the money
In response to the growing upscale market in Cancun, Palace Resorts is opening a new upscale facility, says Robert Chapur, president of Palace Resorts.
“Le Blanc Spa Resort reassures our commitment to the growth of Mexico’s travel industry. It’s the answer to the demand for the growing upscale market in Cancun,” he said.
The new upscale, all-inclusive, adults-only property is called Le Blanc Spa Resort.
But Palace Resorts says it’s not just a hotel but a distinct luxury destination which will be centered on the color white. All interiors will be in white with contemporary and minimalist decorative touches.
Special features of Le Blanc Spa Resort will include a private (lake), which is connected to Cancun’s ancient Mayan Nichupté Lagoon. Guests of the resort will enjoy private candle lit dinners under the stars on boat rides in the lake.
Guests will also get their spa services in private suites with views of the lake.
The new resort plans to open in the winter of 2005.
Palace Resorts now offers ten resorts in Cancun, Riviera Maya, Cozumel, and Nuevo Vallarta.
