Worldspan poaches Sabre exec

Worldspan has announced the appointment of Ninan Chacko to its product planning department.

Mr Chacko has assumed the role of senior vice president – Product Planning, which is a new post. The role involves overseeing product planning and marketing communications for Worldspan’s traditional and online travel agencies, travel suppliers and corporate customers.

Mr Chacko comes from Sabre Holdings, where he was senior vice president of Emerging Business. Previous to that and other executive roles at Sabre, he worked for American Airlines and System One.

Worldspan chairman, president and chief executive officer, Rakesh Gangwal said: “Ninan is an extremely talented executive and he brings a wealth of skills and expertise to Worldspan’s operations.”
