Worldspan, US Airways sign new fare pact
Worldspan announced an agreement in America to expand access to US Airways fare data.
The agreement includes all publicly available fares and those fares booked via US Airways’ reservations office, its web site and third-party web sites, the company announced.
The agreement will provide comprehensive inventory and fare content that will include Worldspan’s traditional and online travel agency retailers, according to Worldspan.
“We are pleased to work collaboratively with Worldspan to make our web fares more widely available, and at the same time manage our distribution costs,” said B. Ben Baldanza, US Airways senior vice president, marketing and planning.
US Airways, seventh-largest US airline, serves nearly 200 communities worldwide. US Airways and its partners operate over 3,300 flights per day.
