Saturday, 13 Apr, 2006 0
Spirit of Tasmania is expecting a busy Easter weekend with ten thousand passengers booked to travel on the three Spirit of Tasmania ships from Thursday through to Monday.
Chief Executive Peter Simmons said the Easter weekend was usually a busy time for travel to Tasmania and this year was no exception.
“The combination of holiday makers and people visiting family over the break means it is all systems go for Spirit of Tasmania,” said Mr Simmons.
“We will have 18 sailings operating over that period including day sailings on the Melbourne service.
“In the spirit of the season, thousands of Easter eggs will be given to passengers on board travelling during the Easter period.”
