ABTA has already taken 1,250 bookings for this year’s Convention in Cairo, 18-21 October.

Keith Betton, ABTA’s Head of Corporate Affairs, told TravelMole that he believes “the target of 1500 will be passed”. However, he pointed out that a lot of delegates will not have noticed that the prices go up on 20 August, when registration for ABTA Members, which is £199, will go to £284, and registration for non-members, which is currently £468, will go up to £553.

Jonathon Porritt (Forum for the Future)
