ABTA is warning operators that an agency is using another’s expired credentials to attempt to make bookings.
It said it had been advised that a non-ABTA agency is contacting operators to make bookings and quoting ABTA number E0668.
The number used to belong to Travel By Design (Chertsey) Ltd. but ceased to be valid in 2004.
The company making the calls has no connection to Travel By Design which is still an ABTA member (ABTA number 64676).
