The Advantage Travel Partnership has announced a new member, US-based travel experience company First in Service Travel.

The company joins Advantage as it gears up to open its first office in the UK next month.

Founded in New York over 30 years ago, F1S provides travel experiences tailored for leisure, corporate, entertainment and events clients.

It is one of the fastest growing travel experience companies in North America.

The company has offices in New York, LA, Miami, Bogota and Toronto as well as an established European office in Madrid.

The opening of its first office in the UK, in London’s Covent Garden, marks a key milestone in the company’s expansion.

The UK operation will be led by travel industry veteran Barry Whittaker as Managing Director UK and Europe.

He will spearhead the UK operations, bringing a career in travel that spans over 50 years.

His previous roles were at Abercrombie & Kent, Tzell UK and Global Travel Collection.

Fernando Gonzalez, CEO of F1S, said: “We are thrilled to establish our presence in the United Kingdom, a move that has been long in the making.”

We believe the time is right to offer the unique Travel Experience services to travellers and Independent travel agents in the UK.”
