Agents invited on virtual fam trip with Czech Tourism
Spinning Globe has launched the first virtual agent fam trip for CzechTourism.
VFam is a sales training platform based on the concept of the traditional fam trip and allows tourist boards to take agents on a virtually tour of their destination.
"Distributing tourists outside of the regular haunts of, say, Prague to equally impressive and lesser known, or even unknown, places around the country is a priority for CzechTourism and many other tourist boards," said Spinning Globe.
"A VFam enables agents to explore and improve their destination knowledge for a wider range of places and products which they can promote to their customers, driving increased sales and commission earnings."
VFams are also available for the Maldives, Jordan, Dominica, and Taiwan.
New country content is regularly added as new destinations invest in the opportunity to promote more of their regions to the wider travel industry.
"CzechTourism recognises the importance of continually training the travel trade about destination and partner content. Familiarisation trips are central to this process, so we are delighted to be trailing this innovative new platform giving us another avenue to train Agents via VFams," said Katerina Setunska, trade manager at CzechTourism UK.
