Air Berlin reduces fuel surcharge

Air Berlin is reducing its fuel surcharge on January 27.

On domestic German and European intercity flights the surcharge per flight will be reduced from £20 to £16.

On medium-haul tourist routes the fuel surcharge will be reduced from £28 to £20.

On flights to Egypt, Madeira, the Azores and the Canary Islands the fuel surcharge will be reduced to £28 from £36.

On long-haul routes the surcharge will be reduced from £76 to £64.

The airline said it would make further adjustments to the fuel surcharge in line with future movements of the aviation fuel price.
