Air India’s promise to fully restore its flight schedule by October 1, 2025 looks like falling short.
The network downsizing came after the air crash in Ahmedabad in June.
CEO Campbell Wilson said it was on track for a full restoration of international services by October.
However, aviation analytics firm Cirium’s data uncovered several schedule changes which includes scrapping routes and reducing frequencies.
Pune-Singapore, Delhi-Nairobi, Goa-London Gatwick and Delhi-Washington have been removed from schedules.
Air India is also reducing frequencies from Delhi to European cities Milan, Zurich and Copenhagen.
The Birmingham to Amritsar and Delhi-Chicago routes see frequencies reduced as well.
Air India has already announced an end to Delhi-Washington flights while it plans to reduce frequencies on the Delhi-Newark route too.
Likewise, it will reduce service slightly on its two New York routes from Delhi and Mumbai.
