Airline steps up Bristol-Cork capacity

Wednesday, 30 Oct, 2006 0

Aer Arann is doubling capacity on the Bristol-Cork route.

The number of weekly flights from Bristol International to Cork is to go up from four to six this week, with larger aircraft deployed on the route.

This means capacity will rise from 192 seats to 396 seats a week. Fares start from just £29 one way, including tax.

Bristol Airport aviation development director Tony Hallwood said: “Demand for the route has been extremely high this year. It is great news that we have more than doubled the number of weekly seats available, particularly as the increase is in good time for the busy Christmas and New Year period, when many people travel to visit friends and family.”
