Alaska Airlines has no intention of offloading its two gates at Dallas Love Field Airport it inherited from Virgin America.
Alaska already flies from Dallas Fort/Worth.
It was suspected Alaska may give them up, which may have gone some way to solving a long drawn out legal battle between Southwest Airlines and Delta over gates.
"We’re keeping both for sure. We love Love Field," Ben Minicucci told Bloomberg.
Virgin scored two out of the 20 gates at Love Field in 2014 when some restrictions dating back to the 1970s, known as the Wright Amendment, were lifted at the airport.
The remaining 18 gates are owned by Southwest Airlines.
Minicucci did say Alaska may tweak the destinations Virgin flies to from Love Field.
Virgin currently serves San Francisco, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Washington-Reagan National Airport and New York-LaGuardia out of the airport.
