Alaska Airlines is adding more capacity in California.
The carrier will add three daily flights between San Diego and Sacramento and Burbank and San Jose, starting next spring.
The new flights start from March 16, 2017 and flown with 76-seat E175 jets operated by SkyWest Airlines.
"These new routes will bring more options and low fares to our California customers, as well as creating new connections to key international business markets served by our partner carriers," said Alaska’s chief commercial officer, Andrew Harrison.
Services to these cities will connect California fliers to London, Beijing and Tokyo on Alaska partner airlines British Airways, Hainan Airlines and Japan Airlines, it said in a release.
Reservations for the new routes go live on May 25, Alaska said.
