Tuesday, 6 July 20103 min read

Alitalia has joined the Air France-KLM and Delta Air Lines trans-Atlantic joint venture.

Under the agreement, signed in April 2009, member airlines can share revenues and costs on their trans-Atlantic routes.

Governance of the joint venture will be equally shared between Alitalia, the Air France-KLM Group and Delta.

Alitalia also will be included in all joint venture initiatives, including joint sales contracts, which launched in January 2009.
