Amex reshuffles senior EMEA team
American Express Business Travel has announced a series of key senior appointments as it reports strong growth in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
The travel management company claims its account wins rose by 34% for first six months of 2007.
Senior vice president David Herrick said: “We have accelerated our growth this year, keeping our eye firmly on how best to service our clients and developing industry leading services and solutions.
“We continue to evolve and have recently boosted our European team with two new roles, as well as welcoming Brian Mogler, a tenured American Express Business Travel team member, to the role of vp and general manager of customer service delivery EMEA. “
Joakim Johansson has been appointed vice president of advisory services, EMEA. He joined Amex in 1998 and was most recently vp strategic planning, Global Travel Services.
Michael Rouse has been appointed to the new position of global field strategy and effectiveness. He joins from United Biscuits.
Brian Mogler has been appointed vp and general manager, customer service delivery for the EMEA region.
He takes over from Suzan Kereere, following her recent move to a new role in Amex. Mogler joined Amex in 1999 and most recently was vp and head of the supplier relations for Amex Business Travel EMEA.
