And the award for …

Monday, 26 Feb, 2013 0

Just when you thought we were already showered with awards – a new part of the travel industry is being put to the test.

The ‘Fluffies’ is a new award scheme to rank hotel towels on their size, smell, overall feel, thickness and … whiteness.

Following a rigorous three-month analysis organisers Methven have found a winner.

Malmaison was voted the best with Park Inn by Radisson a close second and Novotel finishing third.

Steve Lee, CEO Methven UK, said: "We believe that our shower experience is enhanced by, or is diminished by, the quality of a towel. A good, thick, white, fluffy, fresh-smelling towel can make our hotel showering experience even more memorable.
