Kenya Airways is being sued by its former spokesperson who was allegedly forced to resign for wearing an Arsenal shirt at an official airline function.
Former corporate communications head Kepha Bosire was allegedly asked to remove the shirt he wore to a party after Africa’s Masai Mara Marathon in October, which is sponsored by Kenya Airways.
Arsenal is sponsored by Emirates, which has a codeshare agreement with Kenya Airways South African Airways.
According to Kenya Today, Kenya Airways’ CEO Dr Titus Naikuni removed Bosire’s Arsenal shirt and, days later, Bosire was ordered to resign.
Bosire, who has since founded his own communications company Bossonconsult PR, is allegedly suing his former employer.
