Avis UK has appointed Chris Longmuir as director of business development.
He replaces Roger Evans who is leaving Avis after five years to “pursue his next challenge”.
Longmuir previously led Avis’ UK national sales team and will take on the overall business development activity in the UK, including corporate, leasing and specialist businesses.
He will report into UK sales director Anthony Ainsworth and manage a team of 20.
Prior to joining Avis, Longmuir worked at Europcar in a variety of senior management roles.
