BA cabin crew strike put on hold

Monday, 12 June 20173 min read

Unite has said this week’s planned four-day strike by some members of British Airways cabin crew has been suspended.

The airline and the union will instead hold talks at conciliation service ACAS.

The four-day strike by mixed fleet cabin crew had been planned to start on Friday.

BA had said the new strike was ‘completely unnecessary’, but Unite said staff who had taken part in previous strikes were being punished by having their travel benefits taken away.
