bank charges

I have just returned from lanzarote and was shocked at the bank charges that the clydesdale bank imposed,,,if I withdrew 300 euros at the time about 250.00 pounds i was charged 3.75. percent nearly 10.00 every transaction that on top of the the exchange rate loading its a disgrace everyone move to nationwide..in total it cost me over 100.00 its a disgrace how can one company do it for nothing with fair exchange rate and the clydesdale want 3.75 percent plus make on exchange rate
