Benchmark Hospitality International has promoted Kirk Jones to chief financial officer.
Kirk was previously senior vice president of finance, a post he had held since joining Benchmark last year.
He has also worked for Capella Hotel Group as executive vice president of finance, and also for Hilton and Ritz Carlton.
The appointment comes just days after Benchmark Hospitality announced a merger with Gemstone Hotels & Resorts.
The combined business will comprise a portfolio of 58 managed properties when the deal is finalized.
