Bravo Car Hire sends instant confirmation with SMS solution from Text Messaging Centre
Bravo Car Hire, the Spanish internet car hire brokerage, has selected the autonomous web-based SMS solution supplied by Text Messaging Centre (TMC) to provide an instant communication medium to its customer base. Using the SMS solution from TMC, Bravo Car Hire is able to send text message confirmations and booking reference numbers quickly and easily to customers informing them that their car hire booking has been successful.
Working closely with a number of Spain’s top car rental companies, Bravo Car Hire provides a simple way to arrange car hire in Spain. Andrew Shaw, Company Manager of Bravo Car Hire, explains, “As part of our online booking service, our customers receive an email from us when their booking is confirmed. The email contains the confirmation along with the booking reference number and a hire voucher which the customer presents to the car hire desk when they arrive at their holiday destination.â€
Shaw continues, “Using the SMS solution from TMC we are now also able to send our customers a text message, as well as an email, confirming that their booking has been successful. Prior to implementing the TMC solution, we would often encounter problems when sending customers their confirmation if they had provided the wrong or misspelt email address. However, by using SMS we are able to utilise another communication method to ensure that the customer receives all the necessary documentation relating to their car hire booking.â€
“One of the major advantages of SMS communication is that it is instant,†says Shaw. “Our booking process is very quick and straight forward, so it is easy for customers to book their car hire when they have a spare moment at work or in-between tasks. By sending the customer a text message, they do not need to remain at the computer waiting for their confirmation. They can continue with their day knowing that they will receive their confirmation via SMS.â€
Following a successful trial period with TMC, Bravo Car Hire now uses SMS as an additional tool to confirm all bookings. Shaw explains, “The TMC solution works very well and I have been very impressed with the competitive price of the service. The solution was easy to install and is setup for staff to send text messages directly from our existing system. It is also incredibly easy to use, even for those with few IT skills – a simple click of a button and the text message is sent to the customer.â€
