Caesars Entertainment has announced a hike in resort fees at 10 Las Vegas hotels beginning March 1.
It says the fee increase, which ranges from $1 and $3 a day, will be implemented to pay for premium Wi-Fi service.
It will also bring fees in line with rivals like MGM and Wynn, a Caesars spokesman said.
Daily resort fees before tax will rise to $30 at Bally’s, Flamingo, Harrah’s, LINQ Hotel & Casino and the Rio, and to $35 at Caesars Palace, The Cromwell, Nobu, Paris and Planet Hollywood.
MGM Resorts increased resorts fees last fall but doesn’t plan to respond with further increases in the near future.
The Caesars resort fee also includes fitness center passes and local calls.
"We are implementing resort fee increases at our Las Vegas resorts, having added premium Wi-Fi service to covered amenities, bringing those fees in line with the competition," Caesars said.
