California outlines theme park reopening guidelines
The State of California has released rules for theme parks ahead of reopening from next month. It outlines what Disneyland, Universal Studios Hollywood and other parks must do.
As well as physical distancing and wearing face masks, park workers must be trained in Covid-19 prevention programs and must provide optional weekly Covid-19 tests for employees.
Parks can start operations in April at vastly reduced capacity. Eating is permitted only in designated areas and all lines for rides and other attractions must be outside. Park guests must be in-state residents.
