Carnival Cruise Line is launching the first fully functioning brewery at sea in North America after agreeing a partnership with Miami-based Concrete Beach Brewery.
The line’s largest ship Carnivall Vista will offer a choice of three hand-crafted beers brewed onboard which will be served in the RedFrog Pub & Brewery.
"We’ve been working for months with these talented partners who have helped us create three exciting and unique craft beers for Carnival Vista and we anticipate our guests are going to absolutely love them," said Eddie Allen, Carnival’s VP of beverage operations.
The beers have been designed specifically for Vista guests, Allen said.
The three brews are ThirstyFrog Port Hoppin’ IPA, ThirstyFrog Caribbean Wheat unfiltered lager and FriskyFrog Java Stout.
Carnival ships already serve locally brewed beers from Concrete Beach Brewery and several other craft breweries.
