CCRA acquires agent network
CCRA Travel Solutions announced the acquisition of the Outside Sales Support Network (OSSN), a travel trade association that supports over 8,000 home-based travel agents.
The deal also includes OSSN’s agent ID booking system code Travel Retailer Universal Enumeration (TRUE).
CCRA, based at Fort Worth, Texas, provides a hotel-booking engine, after-hours call center, and air contract program for travel agencies.
It said OSSN and TRUE will operate separately as wholly owned entities of CCRA and current OSSN president and vice president Gary and Melody Fee will continue in their roles.
OSSN will continue to operate its active regional chapters around the US, which number around 75 nationwide.
Gary Fee said the deal will ensure the TRUE ID system is available to agents worldwide.
"This expansion will solve a very real challenge among international travel agencies who are faced with a lack of recognition by their industry suppliers," he said.
