China Southern could join oneworld alliance

China Southern is reportedly in talks to join the oneworld alliance

Discussions have taken place but no decision has been made.

Oneworld is the only global alliance without a mainland China airline.

SkyTeam and Star Alliance both have China member airlines.

Given China’s rock solid Covid-zero policy, there doesn’t seem any urgency in China Southern  joining until China’s aviation market fully reopens.
