Chipp to manage JMC Airlines

Thomas Cook UK aviation director, Glen Chipp is to become managing director of JMC Airlines.

Mr Chipp takes over from Mohammed El-Borai on 4th October. He will relocate from Peterborough to Manchester International Airport, where the airline is head-quartered. He takes over just before the airline is to be re-branded as Thomas Cook.

Mr Chipp has worked in the aviation sector of Thomas Cook for ten years. A spokesperson told TravelMole that his replacement will not be announced for at least another six weeks.

Mr El-Borai is returning to Toulouse where he will be pursuing other interests.
