Cross channel ferries resume services
Ferry services from Dover to Calais are set to resume today after French fishermen lifted their blockade.
Thousands of holidaymakers had been left stranded by three days of industrial action, although some of the backlog was cleared overnight.
According to P&O Ferries, fishermen have agreed to stop their action for the whole of today and ferry services will be operating as normal.
But holidaymakers are advised to check with their ferry operator before heading to Dover.
