Dad and son trapped on theme park zip-line
A father and son got stuck on a zip-line above a pool infested with alligators at a Florida park.
The man and boy were stuck about 40 feet above the gator pool, hanging on the line for about 20 minutes before staff reeled them back to safety at Gatorland.
The weekend incident came to light after footage was shared on Facebook.
A strong gust of wind was blamed for bringing the riders to a halt.
"The zipline experience at Gatorland stopped midway with a father and child aboard during one of the scheduled rides. This was due to the gravity breaking system that stopped the two riders just short of the landing tower," park management said in a statement.
"This happens from time to time based on the weight of the riders and the direction of the wind. At no time was anyone in danger."
