Delta Air Lines is adding more flights from Boston, with new routes to San Francisco and Nashville.
The carrier begins flying Delta Connection service to Nashville on November 6 and launches twice daily service to San Francisco on June 8, 2017 using Boeing 757-200 aircraft.
It also announced more flights to Milwaukee and Seattle from Boston.
"We’re seeing growing demand for business travel between Boston and key markets like San Francisco, Nashville, Seattle and Milwaukee," said Joe Esposito, Delta’s vice president-network planning.
"As Boston plays a larger role in Delta’s overall network portfolio, the local community should expect to see additional investments as well."
Delta is also adding holiday season service between Boston and Fort Myers from December 22 using a 76-seat Embraer E-175 aircraft operated by Delta Connection partner Shuttle America.
The company says by June net year it will have increased seat capacity at Boston by 22% in the last three years.
