Delta Air Lines announced its largest expansion ever in Mexico, adding a dozen new flights.

The US Transportation Department had to approve the new routes which include the airline’s first flights into Merida. Launch dates start in late February and continue through June.

US sites for the flights include Atlanta, Cincinnati, Los Angeles, New York and Salt Lake City. New Mexican cities include Los Cabos, Cancun, Acapulco and Cozumel, among others.

Delta is also seeking government approval for three additional routes by this summer from New York to Cancun, Los Angeles to Puerto Vallarta and Los Cabos.
