Delta resumes nonstop Los Angeles – Tokyo service

Saturday, 17 Aug, 2022 0

Delta will restart flights from Los Angeles to Tokyo Haneda Airport from October 30.

The route will initially operate three times weekly before upgrading to daily service on December 1.

It will use Airbus 330-900neo jets with Delta One Suites, Premium Select, Delta Comfort+ and Economy.

Additionally, the airline is launching a new daily service connecting Honolulu and Haneda on December 1 on Boeing 767 aircraft.

It comes as Japan slowly opens up to tourism.

“As travel restrictions gradually ease in Japan, we decided to restart the service from LAX and Honolulu and increase the frequency currently operating to Haneda,” said Victor Osumi, Delta’s Managing Director – Japan.

Delta recently opened the new Delta Sky Club at Haneda.
