Direct Travel has announced another TMC acquisition with the takeover of a Cleveland family owned business.
The company has bought travel management company Traveline Travel Services which has been in business for more than 50 years.
Traveline has annual sales of over $60 million, primarily in corporate travel but also operates vacation and cruise travel centers.
"This acquisition shows our clear intent to continue our aggressive pursuit with growth opportunities and acquisitions that benefit our clients by strengthening our position as a leader in corporate travel well into the future," said Ed Adams, CEO of Direct Travel.
The latest deal comes less than a month after Direct Travel’s acquisition of Notheast agency group Colpitts World Travel.
"The vast array of resources, technologies and superior supplier deals that only a much larger organization like Direct Travel can provide, has been very well received by our long-term clients," said Rob Kneen, president and COO of Traveline.
"Direct Travel’s appreciation of Traveline’s culture and people was the primary reason I made this decision."
