Disney cuts Florida theme park ticket prices
Up to £40 has been cut off entry tickets to Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida.
The attractions giant has revamped tickets available in advance in the UK in an effort to offer better value.
Agents will be invited to roadshows in London, Birmingham, Manchester and Glasgow this month for training on the new passes.
Disney is replacing its 10 day World Ticket, which cost £224, with a 14-day Ultimate Ticket for £184 per adult or £157 per child aged three to nine. It gives access to Disney’s four Florida theme parks and other attractions and is being made available to the UK exclusively in recognition of the fact that 66% of British visitors spend more than seven days in Orlando.
A new five or seven-day Premium Ticket for £166/£168 per adult and £143/£145 per child replaces the Park Hopper PLUS Ticket, offering access to the four theme parks plus three or five admissions respectively to other Walt Disney World Attractions. The seven-day ticket represents a saving of £36 per adult and the five-day, £3.
Disney Parks and Resorts UK and Ireland vice-president sales and marketing Jeff James said: “We have created these new tickets to complement typical holiday durations for UK guests and offer them greater value.”
