Just days ago Disney gained approval to operate drones at parks and has wasted no time in announcing the first drone powered aerial shows.
Night time drone shows will begin at Disney Springs during the holiday season.
Based on a short video clip released by Disney, it will feature a light show with a Christmas theme.
"This holiday season, the idea of ‘wishing upon a star’ will take on an even more magical meaning in the skies of Disney Springs," according to the Disney Parks Blog.
Disney keeping all other details under wraps including the date it will debut.
The company last week received a no fly zone exemption from the Federal Aviation Administration to operate drones over park property.
The FAA said Disney had ‘provided mitigation of risk’ .
