Dozen countries now using EU Digital Covid Certificate
Twelve natons are now using the EU’s Digital Covid Certificate ahead of the official EU-wide rollout in July. Verified by a QR code, it presents proof that a traveller has been vaccinated or has recently tested negative for Covid-19.
Five more countries have started using the app in the past week. It is now being used in Denmark, Estonia, Lithuania, Bulgaria, Greece and Latvia among others.
The app could be extended to travellers from non-EU countries, including the US and UK.
