Dreamworld will reopen next week

Six weeks after Australia’s worst theme park accident, Gold Coast park Dreamworld will reopen.
The park reopens along with sister attraction WhiteWater World on December 10 with every single ride now having undergone a multi-level safety review, said Dreamworld CEO Craig Davidson.
"Both parks will open to the public on 10 and 11 December with a special ‘Open Hearts – Open Doors’ charity weekend" Davidson said.
"Furthermore A$25 from every guest entry fee from the charity weekend will be donated to the Red Cross and Dreamworld will also contribute the $25 donation on behalf of all pre-paid ticket and passholders. These funds will be distributed to those affected by the tragedy through the GIVIT Appeal Independent Distribution Committee."
Some rides are still non operational and ‘will open progressively as they are signed off by the safety review process,’ he said.
That will not include the Thunder River Rapids Ride which caused the death of four people in October and is now being dismantled.
Dreamworld also announced a six-month extension for all passholders.
